On Tuesday, 29th October, 2013, Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) and France Football revealed the 23-man shortlist for 2013 FIFA Balon d'or.
Current title holder, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Frank Ribery an five other Bayern Munich teammates were among the candidates shortlisted to win the individual award.
The 23-men willl be shortlisted to three in early December, while the winner of the award will be revealed at the FIFA Balon d'Or galar at Zurich on the 13th of January, 2014.
