Lagos Builds Security Watch Towers to Check Kidnapping in Schools

The Lagos State Government has commenced building watch towers at Igbonla Model College, where 6 school children were recently abducted. The Deputy Governor promised that this would be replicated in other schools in the state to check incessant cases of abduction which has taken a vertical motion.
The security watch towers which would be manned 24-hours would be mounted with CCTV cameras. This proactive step from the state government will ensure that kidnappers are sighted from afar before they unleash terror on the school community.
As laudable as this may seem, the most important thing however, is to secure the abducted students unharmed. I wish the state government and the security operatives success. The parents should also  trust the state government that they would ensure the safe return of their children.
